About This Site
Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

When Timbaland’s album was released earlier this year and I was going through 30 second clips on iTunes, this song immediately caught my attention because a) it didn’t sound like a typical Timbaland hip-hop song and b) it sounded really good. Since then I’ve noticed that this song was always on the top 100 most downloaded list even though it wasn’t released as a song. And now it’s officially released as a single, it’s everywhere. OneRepublic is apparently a five-person band from Colorado lead by singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder. Hopefully their upcoming debut album will be as good as this track.
