About This Site
Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

What do you get when you mix Smashing Pumpkins, Fountains of Wayne, Cheap Trick and Hanson? Well, you get Tinted Windows. I have to admit, it’s a pure pop power rock album that makes you want to sing “woooahh” and “yay yay” along with them. I’m a huge fan of Adam Schlesinger’s songwriting, (particularly on films That Things You Do and Music & Lyrics). The guitar you hear is definitely from ex-Pumpkin’s James Iha. I can’t say that I know enough Cheap Trick music to recognize the particular drumming. When I first heard that the lead singer is going to be one of the Hanson brothers (the second one), I was a little hesitant, but I guess he’s not a boy any more (that would be freaky considering those days were over 10 years ago), and he does a good job with the vocal task.
