Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.

My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

Arcade Fire - Ready To Start

Album: The Suburbs

Montreal, Canada’s popular indie band, Arcade Fire have been getting a lot of press, with most of them saying that The Suburbs is the album that is going to make them into a huge band. It’s true. They’ve sold out at Madison Garden, and The Suburbs was released to #1 spot on Billboard chart. This album has more pop appeal which could translate to mainstream crossover.
