Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.

My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

Jay-Z - Run This Town /ft. Rihanna & Kanye West

Album: The Blueprint 3

It’s nice to see Rihanna back in the music world after all the news about her incident with Chris Brown. Jay-Z continues to build momentum for his highly anticipated album, The Blueprint 3, by releasing another single, this time enlisting Rihanna and Kanye West, reaching #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Looking through Jay-Z’s album track list, it seems like a lot of the songs were produced by Kanye West, and a couple from Timbaland.
