Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
With magical lyrics like getting hugged by ten thousand fireflies, Adam Young, who goes by Owl City has found numerous fans. When I heard this song for the first time, I thought it was a new song from Seattle’s Postal Service (ironically enough, Owl City has a song titled, “Hello Seattle”). Both iTunes and Amazon MP3 featured this track as the free single of the week. That exposure lead his new album, Ocean Eyes to peak at #2 on iTunes album chart.
