Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.

My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

I hadn’t heard anything about them until I downloaded this song from Amazon MP3 free daily download. If you liked Amy Winehouse or Mark Ronson’s soul throwback tracks, this one is for you. This LA band got a lucky break by opening for Maroon 5, and now they were even featured on Justin Timberlake’s blog. They sound like they would put on a kick ass live show.
