Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
In Japan Bon Jovi is now bigger than The Beatles. Seriously. This 10th album scored Bon Jovi their fourth #1 album debut in Japan, beating The Beatle’s record of three. That explains why Bon Jovi going to Japan once or sometimes even twice a year to play there. This album has quite a bit of country music influence to it. For this particular track, they apparently made two versions; one pop and the other country version. Jon Bon Jovi was on American Idol recently coaching the contestants and he performed this song live, which of course, boosted sales of this song.
