Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
This girl is from the Dominican Republic, and this track reminds me of the first song Rihanna came out with, “Pon De Replay.” They both have Caribbean beat and features a rap. Actually when I compare both album covers, they look quite similar (I’m talking about the design, not their faces). Something tells me she is going to end up as one hit wonder. But then again, that’s what I thought about Rihanna two years ago.
