About This Site
Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
The Killers released an album called Sawdust which contained B-sides, rarities and a few new songs. One of the new songs is this one, which covers Joy Division’s song from 1979. This song is somewhat famous since the singer of Joy Division wrote this song (which includes reference to suicide) and shortly after writing this song, he committed suicide. This song was also used in the film, Control, and the music video incorporates shots from the movie.
