Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
I tried to avoid putting this song on my selection this whole summer, but a free copy of this CD landed on me, and considering that it was an undeniable hit, I gave in and put it on my iPod. Soulja Boy was born in 1990 (90s?!), and he recorded songs and uploaded to various file share programs. His trick was naming these songs, “Justin Timberlake” or “50 Cent” and people accidentally downloaded them. That paid off, I guess. I still think this song is really annoying. Can it even be considered as a song?
