Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
I had never heard of this band before, but apparently they have had quite a few top ten hits on the US rock chart, and a couple of theme songs for WWE. Shinedown is a rock band from Jacksonvillem Florida, and they have been around since 2001. I first came across their album because I liked the illustration on the album cover. With slick production by Rob Cavallo (My Chemical Romance, Green Day), this rock song is very pop friendly, as if it was written for Daughtry.
