About This Site
Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
If you listened to rock music in the 90s, you would recognize songs like, “I Alone” and “Lightning Crashes” by a band called Live. Chris Daughtry was one of them, and he has mentioned a couple of times on American Idol that Live was one of his favorite bands of all time. Their popularity has declined since then, and the lead singer, Ed Kowalczyk is now releasing a solo album. On one of the tracks, Chris Daughtry actually lends a hand in songwriting (track titled “Drink (Everlasting Love)).
