Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.

My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

Weezer - Represent

Who knew that Weezer frontman, Rivers Cuomo was such a soccer fan. He claims that his father was Italian American and he grew up watching and playing soccer most of his life. Even during tours, he tries to squeeze in a game here and there. To show his appreciation for the sport, he recorded unofficial US soccer team anthem. It sounds quite a bit different from their usual recording with 80s anthem style keyboard (think “Final Countdown”). But it’s catchy and I kind of like it.
