About This Site
Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
I had never heard of these guys before, until I caught the middle of this song on the radio. For the first 10 seconds or so, I wondered if it was the new song from My Chemical Romance as it sounded like it could fit on their Black Parade album. After 10 more seconds, I realize that the vocal was slightly different, but the style was quite similar. After a quick search on the internet, I discovered that a couple of their songs (including this one) is available for free download on
Purevolume website.
