About This Site
Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
Already labeled as this year’s “
American Boy” (made famous by Estelle and Kanye West), The Dream does a good Michael Jackson imitation. In fact, I wonder if this song was written for Michael Jackson at first, since there was a rumor that The Dream was working on a song for Michael Jackson a couple of years ago. Kanye spits decent verse for this track, and it’s thoroughly enjoyable, but if I have to compare, I prefer “
American Boy” over this track.
