His raspy voice sounds like Joe Cocker, and his songwriting is folky kind of like Iron & Wine. Most of his songs are really slow, the kind that married couple in their 40s can slow dance to inside the log cabin with the fireplace going. But this track is a feel good song that’s not too slow, and won’t put me to sleep.
