Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
She is one of the most talked about and blogged about artists in the world right now (other than Fleet Foxes). I’m not quite sure why, but I see her name everywhere from Billboard magazine to reports on SXSW. Lykke Li is a young Swedish indie-pop singer. For that she is often compared to Robyn or even Bjork. Her album was produced by Bjorn Yttling (of Peter Bjorn & John). At first listen, I thought it was weird music and couldn’t get into it, but after a few listen, I can understand how people could be crazy about her creative sound as it is very unique.
