Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.

My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

Great Northern - Houses

Album: Remind Me Where The Light Is

I started hearing their song on the radio since they will be opening up for Blink182/Weezer concert coming up next month. Great Northern is an indie rock band from LA, consisting of Rachel Stolte and former 30 Seconds to Mars guitarist, Solon Bixler. This track in particular sounds like something Metric would put out. I’m looking forward to seeing them live.
