About This Site
Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
With a lot of 90s bands reuniting nowadays, Third Eye Blind attempts to make a come back as well. This lead off single, “Don’t Believe A Word” from their new album, Ursa Major has big guitar and banging drum section. It sounds very ambitious. Maybe a bit too ambitious for Third Eye Blind. They are the group responsible for the catchy “toot toot toot” from the song “Semi-Charmed Life”. I’m hoping that other songs on the album are a lot more catchy and friendly.
