Selecting 20 songs each month - Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, etc (with big 500x500 pixel album covers)
About This Site
Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
The Swedish rock band had an international success in 2006 with a song, “Young Folks” that featured lots of whistling and bongo drums (or I think that’s what it’s called). They are back with new album. The new single, “Nothing to Worry About” has addicting hook, but what got me hooked was the music video that features Japanese rockabilly punk dancers at Yoyogi Park near Harajuku. The first time I saw the video, I thought “what the…” but the more I listen to the song, the song fits the video very well.
