About This Site

Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.

My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

Tilly And The Wall – Pot Kettle Black

Album: o

Tilly And The Wall is a unique band from Omaha, Nebraska for having a tap dancer instead of a drummer. The combination of fun keyboard chords and the tap dance beat makes this band fun to listen to (and probably to check out live). “Pot Kettle Black” is the first single off of their third album titled, o. The track sounds like The Go-Go’s playing along with The White Stripes. There is nobody named Tilly in the band, as the band name originated from a children’s book called Tillie and the Wall.
