Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.

My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.

Jazmine Sullivan - Need U Bad /ft. Missy Elliott

Album: Fearless

Missy Elliott’s new protégé sounds a lot like Alicia Keys and sings like Lauryn Hill. This “Ned U Bad” track has been #1 on R&B chart for four weeks. She has written songs for Christina Millian and Fantasia, yet Jazmine Sullivan is still only 21 years old. Since I haven’t selected any R&B songs in a while, I thought this would be a good one.
