Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
Jenny Lewis is a lead singer of LA rock band, Rilo Kiley. She released a solo album a couple of years ago featuring the Watson Twins. This time, she is all alone. Jenny Lewis started out as a child actor (she was in Pleasantville, Foxfire, just to name a few), but has moved onto only doing music. I just love her voice. Normally I wouldn’t listen to this kind of slow music (especially when it sounds country), but when Jenny Lewis sings it, it sounds beautiful.
