Each month I select 20 songs (10 songs twice a month) that I am either hooked on or am curious about. Most of the music I select are rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop songs.
My song selection comes from 20-30 CDs I get from various sources each month, as well as recommendations from iTunes and Amazon. I also check out the charts in US, UK and Japan.
If you watch TV and has seen the latest iPod commercial, you would know this song. Apple always does a superb job selecting great indie, undiscovered songs, and turns it into a hit (good example is Yael Naim’s “
New Soul” which was used on Air Mac commercial). The Ting Tings are from the UK and consist of cute blonde, Katie White and Jules De Martino. Their debut album, We Started Nothing is currently the #1 album in the UK.

Wow this song is #1 in the UK right now? I thought it had kick ass music and then when the singing started, I was like "ahg, that's annoying!" I guess it's one of those that you'll get used to after you listen to it a few times.
